Stephany Yu is the Founder and General Partner of Sunwater Capital, an investment firm focused on real estate, healthcare, and data in the US and overseas. Yu is passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and social impact. She is the Founder and Chairwoman of Yuan Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports education, culture, and community development for the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. She is also the Chairwoman of the International Leadership Foundation Entrepreneurship & Innovation Committee, which fosters leadership and entrepreneurship among young AAPI professionals. Yu holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Fudan University.
Mr. Cui received his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. ‘s degree in philosophy from Fudan University. From 1989-1996, he was a faculty at East China Normal University, He has also served as Secretary General of Chinese and Western Philosophy and Culture Comparative Research Center in Shanghai. He was visiting professor of Pacific University in Oregon 1996-1997 and visiting scholar of Department of East Asia Studies in Harvard University, and Harvard-Yenching Institute in Boston 1997-1998. He has been engaged in international trading, commercial real estate and e-commerce business since 2000 in New York, Miami and Los Angeles. Mr. Cui has been a Board Member of International Leadership Foundation (ILF) , Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee since 2018.
After a successful career in the investment management business, Ms. Fanghua Jiang relocated to Shanghai in 2008 and became an educational entrepreneur. Ms. Jiang launched Children’s Cooperation Center (CCC) in 2008 to fill the gap between a test taking culture and the other important requirements a great school provides such as character education and life skill training. CCC caters to local students and schools and has built strong relationships with k-12 schools and universities. Since 2008, over 5000 students benefited from Ms. Jiang’s programs including Drama, Public Speaking, Debate, English literacy and English literature . Ms. Jiang co-authored “American Character Education – A Collection of 38 Examples”.
Prior to her relocation to Shanghai, Ms. Jiang spent 15 years at three world-class firms. Initially hired at JPMorgan Private Bank in 1994, she created Morgan Asset Projection System (MAPS) that was the IP of Morgan Advice Lab. She also advised ultra-high net worth clients on their portfolio investments. She received successive promotions to head the structured derivatives marketing group and then lead the hedge fund advisory group’s distressed investment businesses. In 2003, Ms. Jiang joined Paloma Partners’ internal fund of funds group as a Managing Director. As part of her responsibilities, she provided investment advisory services to a few well-established cultural and educational endowments. In 2007, she teamed up with a former JPMorgan colleague, to start the Global Endowment Management LP based in Charlotte, NC. Ms. Jiang is the co-founder of Fudan Fuzhong Overseas Foundation, a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit charitable organization dedicated to support education development for students in China. She served as the President since its inception in 2006 until 2014.
Ms. Jiang received her B.A. in Economics in 1988 from Fudan University, Shanghai, China and a Master of Science in Business Administration in 1994 from Washington University, St. Louis, Mo. She lives in NYC. Ms. Jiang is a native Chinese speaker.
Ting Tang has worked in the media industry for over three decades. He has particular expertise in enterprise reporting and op-ed writing. Throughout his career, Tang has held various senior positions, including editor-in-chief, chief correspondent, and producer. With his exceptional journalistic insight and skills, Tang excels at pinpointing key issues and exploring complex social topics in depth.
Over the past decade, Tang has focused on raising civic awareness among Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. With a deep understanding of the unique concerns within the AAPI community, Tang is actively supporting grassroots efforts to strengthen the community. Through various outreach and broadcasting initiatives, Tang has helped enhance the AAPI community’s civic engagement and self-identification.Tang is key role of the team behind “DC, the Core,” a bilingual news analysis on U.S. politics. With innovative broadcasting methods and deep political insights, Tang has significantly advanced the AAPI community’s civic engagement and empowerment.
Tang also has extensive experience in marketing, brand building, and multimedia operations. He excels at integrating traditional media with emerging technologies and has achieved remarkable success in applying AI to brand promotion. His work has not only boosted brand visibility but also established deep connections with target audiences, driving long-term growth.
Mr. Lu is a registered Investment Advisor with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He has over 25 years of experiences working in equity markets, specializing in real estate finance (REITs) and ETF investments. He is the CEO of Vesta Investment Advisors and manages Vesta Strategic RE Fund, Vii ETF Growth Fund and other private equity funds. Previously worked at Millennium Management, Fidelity Investments, Fannie Mae and other financial institutions.
Graduated from Fudan University in mathematical mechanics and Courant Institute of Mathematics, New York University.

With a master’s degree in library science from SUN YAT-SEN University and a bachelor’s degree in medical informatics from Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University, Haiyan brings a wealth of experience in education and management. She has extensive experience in multi-level teaching, especially in course design and curriculum development. Haiyan is an education manager and operations manager at Yuan Foundations, and responsible for the design, promotion, implementation, and external communication of education programs.
Haiyan’s career began as a reference librarian at Guangzhou Medical University, where she honed her expertise in research and information management. Her professional background also includes roles as a teacher of classical and modern Chinese, a special education educator, and a long-term volunteer at a Chinese school, all of which highlight her unwavering commitment to education and student development.
Pingping is a veteran journalist with rich experience in the U.S. and abroad. She specializes in investigative journalism and profile story writing, earning recognition as an award-winning journalist. Through her journalistic work, Pingping possesses deep insights into key areas such as politics, healthcare, and education in both the U.S. and China. She holds a master's degree in Politics, Policy, and Foreign Affairs from the Medill Journalism School at Northwestern University, and she earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from Fudan University.
